Before Sunday the sox were 0-6 in extra innings games this year. Then Franchy Cordero came to the plate. With the bases jacked Franchy got Crawnchy and sent a 0-2 hanging slider 419 feet. Can you hear me smiling ? You can. It’s loud .

Before Corhero’s slam the Sox had their hearts broken as Hansel “ regretel “ Robles gave up a dinger to Eugenio Suarez to tie the game in the ninth and the Mariners took a 4-3 lead in the top half of the 10th. In the bottom of the 10th Kike tied it back up with an infield single scoring Ghost runner Dalbec. Devers then singled to right and Christian Vazquez was wrongly called out at home. (come on his toe was in before the tag.) and then along came Crawnchy. And the rest is history.

Not to be forgotten

Nate Eovaldi pitched a superb 6 ⅔ innings striking out a career high eleven batters. The tenth was his 1,000 career K. Trevor Story continued to smash as he sent his fifth home run in four games into the monster seats that gave the Sox a then 4-3 lead 4-3 lead. JBJ had another day at the plate (.309 at Fenway this season) going 2-4 with a double and Hernandez is starting to heat up , 2-5 with a double, an RBI and a run. And Christian Arroyo hit a solo shot way back in the second. The Sox finished off the home stand 6-1 . Well done.

Me, I’m still smiling, don’t think I’ll stop until the first pitch in Chicago on Tuesday night. Until then you can Follow/ give me grief on Twitter @Tmurph207
