  • Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum has been clear about the fact that he has not played up to his own expectations thru the first 4 games of these finals. After his 23-point, 11-rebound performance in Boston’s 107-97 Game 4 loss to the Golden State Warriors Tatum said

“I mean, I give (the Warriors) credit. They’re a great team. They’re playing well. They got a game plan, things like that, but it’s on me. I got to be better. I know I’m impacting the game in other ways, but I got to be more efficient, shoot the ball better, finish at the rim better. I take accountability for that.”

  • Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr made the decision to sit forward Draymond Green in critical minutes down the stretch of Game 4 as his struggles had continued. Green, who only scored 2 points in each games 3 and 4 admitted he was not happy about being pulled.

“Definitely never thrilled coming out of a game with seven minutes to go in the fourth quarter in a must-win game. I’m not going to sit here and act like I was. I’m a competitor,” Green said.
