  • Grant Williams turns in an inspiring performance and scores a career-high 27 points, hitting 7 3-pointers. Jayson Tatum added 23 and the Boston Celtics set a Game 7 record with 22 3-pointers. Boston convincingly eliminates the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks 109-81 on Sunday in the Eastern Conference semifinals. The Celtics outscored the Bucks 61-38 in the 2nd half and carried a monster 54-point advantage from the 3-point line. Boston moves on and will face the Miami Heat on Tuesday.

 

  • Luka Doncic scored 35 points, Spencer Dinwiddie added 30 and the Dallas Mavericks completely demolished the top-seeded Phoenix Suns with a 123-90 knockout Sunday night in game 7. Dallas will travel to go face the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.

  • Artemi Panarin scored a power-play goal 4:46 into OT to push the New York Rangers to victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3 Sunday night. The Rangers move on to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs and will face the Carolina Hurricanes.

 

  • Johnny Gaudreau scored 15:09 into overtime to elevate the Calgary Flames past the Dallas Stars 3-2 in Game 7 on Sunday night. This is just the 2nd playoff series win for the Flames in the last 17 years. They will face the Edmonton Oilers to begin the 2nd round. Game 1 is Wednesday in Calgary.
