Last month, WeissLaw announced that they are investigating WWE regarding possible false and misleading statements, accounting and reporting practices, insider trading, breaches of fiduciary duty, and violations of the federal securities laws by the WWE Board of Directors and officers in the company. This was followed by Pomerantz announcing later that month that they were also investigating WWE.
And now, Former Attorney General of Louisiana, Charles C. Foti, Jr., Esq., a partner at the law firm of Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC (KSF), has announced that KSF is investigating WWE as well, focusing on whether WWE’s officers and/or directors breached their fiduciary duties to WWE’s shareholders or otherwise violated state or federal laws.
KSF is a boutique securities litigation law firm with offices in New York, California, Louisiana, and New Jersey that serves a variety of clients including public institutional investors, hedge funds, money managers, and retail investors, seeking to recover investment losses due to corporate fraud and malfeasance by publicly traded companies.
While the investigations continue, WWE is preparing for their next premium live event, SummerSlam, which will be taking place on July 30. In the main event, Roman Reigns will be defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against former WWE Champion and former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar in a “Last Man Standing” match.
